| Now, I used to be a Pro-V type of girl until my friend Ashley said that it's not all that good for your hair. It got me kinda nervous... so I decided to try something new. Two weeks ago I went into all all natural grocery store and they had this natural shampoo that was to die for. At first I didn't think I was going to like it then I found myself swearing by natural products. Although I was scared into switching, I'm glad that I eventually did. I needed a change and natural products have never been in the picture for me until now.

| I met Rachelle yesterday, and to my surprise, she actually has a cosmetic blog too! She is a makeupartist in another part of town, but she loves it. We have a lot in common, and we're going to hang out on Friday night @ the new bar up the street. I'm excited! Most of my girl friends aren't too bedazzled by cosmetics and MAC lines, etc. It's definitely nice to have someone to talk to about it.

| Are really short skirts rude on the job? How about the fact that I'm working at a trendy makeup store? It is hard to see where you cross the line, because so many people blur it. I got a nasty remark from an older customer to cover up, and I was insulted. Maybe I just can't pull the "short" look off. I am still young though. What;s wrong w/ me?!

| I already got a Job Promotion at M.A.C. How cool is that? It's
something that I really wanted, and now things are finally looking up
for me. Today when I helped a customer, the first thing she said was:
"I want makeup like yours. I absolutely love your eyeliner." That
compliment changed my mood for the entire day.

| Since I've started working at MAC, i've seen a lot of interesting people. According to my best friend Meg, it is like working in a fashion and cosmetic candy store. To be honest, she's right. So many different people come in, I can't help but people watch all day. That is a perk, you know. Last night we had an instore premiere of a new MAC makeup line. It was really exciting and I got to drink cocktails with my co-workers. Ahh the life of a cosmetic addict :) | | |
